What is a filling material?
They are materials, which very successfully can corrected small and medium-size wrinkles in the face, especially those on the forehead, cheeks and labial region. Restylane or Reviderm or Matridex is a crystal-clear, non animal, biodegradable gel based on a natural substance, called hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the body. Hyaluronic acid material result is instantaneous and produces a long lasting natural enhancement. It give s natural volume in your skin to lift and produce new firmness, resulting in a healthy, vital appearance. In cases of very loose skin, however, the possibilities of the filling materials treatment are limited.

Who is a good candidate for the filling materials?
Women of all ages with small and medium sized wrinkles in the face. Hyaluronic acid materials may be used for treating facial wrinkles or folds, and enhancing facial features. The injected gel produces natural volume under the wrinkle, which is lifted up and smoothed out. The result can be seen immediately.

Are there risks involved?

What will happen during treatment?
The filling materials are injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. No previous skin test is needed, which means that you can have the treatment immediately. The injection session often takes less than thirty minutes. The result is instantaneous.
Prior to your procedure, a topical anesthetic cream can be applied to the area to be treated. You can also choose to have a local anesthetic injection.
Immediately after treatment, you can expect a slight redness, swelling, tenderness in the treated area. The discomfort is temporary and generally disappears in a few days. When it comes to lip augmentation, the swelling may last longer.
A touch-up treatment within 2-4 weeks after the initial treatment may be necessary to achieve an optimal correction.
The treatment can be repeated as often as you like.

Fees and treatment facility costs of injectable materials vary widely, depending on the length, technique and complexity of the manipulation. Additional expenses will depend on of kind the anesthesia used.
